Our place by the water

North of the river, right on the water.

Sistas is the table you head to when you want to sit outside in the sun with the marina lapping a few metres away. Good coffee from open, a menu that runs all day, and drinks that suit the view.

Early risers shuffle in for a flat white before the crowds. Mums grab a table after school drop. Friends roll up for a long lunch that turns into an afternoon. However you arrive, you get the same thing: a warm hello and a seat with a water view.

Our story

From a caravan park kiosk
to the marina.

We started in 1988 at the Burns Beach Caravan Park, serving the locals from a little cafe that grew into the much loved Sistas Burns Beach.

In March 2022 we opened our second home at Mindarie Marina, in a bright, airy space that was once the old Dome. We stripped it back and turned it into the Hamptons style, waterside cafe people now drive north for.

The famous Sistas breakfast menu is still here, now alongside a fully licensed kitchen with long lunches, cocktails and wine by the glass. All of it a few steps from the water.
